Moments I remember,
moments I recall,
deepest revalations
as I offer up my all,
I give to you my promise
I give to you my pledge,
as I hold tenderly these moments
and I give to you an edge.

I relish every breath,
relish every day,
as I say a silent thank you
for these quiet words I say,
as I sit here in the silence
and I sit here in the dark
and listen to the pounding,
of the rhythm of my heart.

Yet I know I can't ask for more
can't ask for this precious dream,
as it's becoming a reality
yet not as it may seem.
